All About Me

Let me tell you a little bit about me. I am the mother of two girls, Kaitlynn & Camryn both born in June (One in 2001, One in 2005.) I have been married since April of 2000. I met my husband Douglas on the internet!

I am an employee at Nicholls State University for Sodexo. My current position is a Baker for Jazzman’s Café and Bakery and I work there 6 days a week.  I really enjoy working there where I get to let my creative juices flow and serve people!  I also fill in at the cafeteria when I am needed!!  I am currently enrolled at Nicholls State University and am studying at  John Folse’s Culinary Academy. I should get my bachelors degree in 2 years in Culinary Arts!

My favorite thing to do in my spare time is decorate cakes, but I do love to play around on my computer with graphics and web design.  I also have a hidden obsession for singing karaoke!  Shhh!! My passion is to one day open my own wedding planning/catering/bakery company with my family!

We moved to Gray in December 2005 and LOVE it here!   I don’t think I’ll every move away from here… unless another pesky hurricane comes along!!

I love spending quality time with my friends and family .You will always find me attached to some electronic device, a cell phone, a laptop or an iPod!  That is how I got my nick name of gadget girl! I love learning new things.
